• Type of convulsion
• Age of the patient
• General health of the patient
• Other medications used by the patient
• Response to treatment

Medications that can be used to treat convulstions include:

• Tegretol as the first line treatment
• lamotrigine can be added if there is poor response to tegretol
• Surgical intervention may be needed.

Symptoms of convulsion:

• Lightheadedness
• Blurred vision
• Vertigo
• Passing urine
• Dizziness...etc
