How to deal with soar throut asap

Treatment of sore throat:

As sore throat is mostly due to viral infection, it does not need medications usually as it will resovle spontanously within days.
To relieve symptoms you can take:

• Ibuprofen 600 mg twice daily
• Cetrizine 10 mg once daily before sleep

And if there is fever and symptoms of bacterial infeciotn, you have to take antibiotic as augmentin 625 mg three times daily
And you have to drink good amount of hot drinks.

Symptoms of Bacterial infection:

• High grade fever >38 c
• Productive cough
• Dyspnea
• Arthralgia
• General fatigue...etc
