The treatment of upper abdominal pain is specific for each possible underlying cause
but the main causes can be treated after physical examination by surgeon like the following
Pantovir 40mg once daily
Metronidazole 500mg three times daily
Spasmin twice daily
Ciprofloxacin500mg twice daily for 5 days
Peptic ulcer
Acid reflux
Gallbladder stones
Pancreas inflamation
Hernia
Lower lobe chest infection
taking full medical history of the patient , then do the following test
.CBC
H.pylori stool antigen test
Amylase and Lipase levels
Abd ultrasound
