Do you need injection after pin trauma?

It depends on:

• Your age
• If you have vaccine previously or not.

In general, if you take all your vaccines, then you need injection if you are more than 35 years.
And as the trauma was yesterday, then there is no benifit to take injection today.

Treatment of pin trauma:

You have to take the following treatment:

• Cefuroxime 500 mg twice daily to prevent infection
• Cataflam 50 mg twice daily to relieve pain

Symptoms of infection:

• Pain
• Swelling
• Redness
• Pus collection
• Fever
