What is the cause of pus discharge?

Pus discharge is a sign of infection,
One of the suspected complications after any surgery is infection.

Symptoms of infection:

• Swelling

• Pus discharge

Treatment of pus discharge:

Treatment include:

• Taking good antibiotic, and if there is no response you have to do pus culture and sensitivity test to determine the best antibiotic.
• Surgical intervention may be required to clean the pus
• And you have to do sterile dressing by a specialist daily.
