You have to stop eating at least 8 hours before doing fasting plasma glucose

What is the normal result of fasting plasma glucose?

Normal fasting plasma glucose is less than 100
Between 100 and 125, you have a risk to get DM in the future
126 and more you have DM

Symptoms of DM:

• General fatigue
• Increase thirst
• Blurred vision
• Increase urine frequency
• limbs numbness...etc
