Hi Doc,
I need a lipid profile test for my wife in UAE, ca you please advise which pathology lab is good in reports and price wise as well.
And what would be the cost to me.
Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Actually in india she had completed all tests few months back like LDL, HDL, etc and now it's time to recheck again but we are not going to India for next 4 -5 months.
She feel num ness, knee pain, full day body remain down, unable to work properly
and yes, I want vitamin tests as well for her, specially vitamin D
Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
she has thyroid from last 7 -8 years and taking medicines

- Total cholesterol
- High-density lipoprotein cholesterol HDL
- Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol LDL
- Triglycerides

Why do I need these tests?
When you have risk factors for cardio vascular disease
- High blood pressure
- Diabetes or prediabetes
- Overweight or obesity
- Smoking
- Lack of exercise
- Diet of unhealthy foods
- Stress
- High total cholesterol
Lab tests of vitamins you need to do ?
- Vitamin D for bone pain
- Vitamin B12 for numbness
