Treatment of high glucose level:

It depends on many factors as:

• Age of the patient
• General health of the patient
• Reading of glucose level

so, you have to confirm that you are sufferring from high glucose level ( DM ) first.
then management may involove:

• Lifestyle changes as doing regular exercise, low sugar intake, decrease weight...etc
• Oral medications as metformin, gliclazide, glebenclamide...etc
• Insulin injection

Symptoms of high glucose level:

• Increase frequency of urination
• Loss weight
• General fatigue
• Headache
• Blurred vision
• Thirst...etc

Diagnosis of DM:

Diagnosis depends on glucose readings as follow:

• Fasting plasma glucose >=126
• Random plasma glucose > 200
•  Two hrs OGTT >=200
