Treatment of ringworm

It is common fungal infection due to tinea where it can affect body to cause teniea corporis or affecting scalp to cause tinea capitis. Treatment of like condition is by the following

• At first avoid itching and exposure to sunlight and heavy sweating
• Use over the counter creams like clotrimazole or terbinafine cream which can heal most ringworm red rash.
• If there is no response you can visit your dermatologist at near primary health care clinic at your city.

Symptoms of ringworm

It causes the following

• flat scaly area at skin
• Red skin rash
• With or without itching
• Circular ring with clear center

Risk factors of ringworm infection

There are many risk factors that increase risk of infection like the following

• Warm weather
• infected clothing and bedding
• Skin to skin contact
• Weak immunity
