my periods used to occur every 31 days ...but since past few months my cycle has reduced to 26 days...what may be the reason?

2. A woman's period usually occurs every 28 days, but normal menstrual cycles can range from 21 days to 35 days.
3. Any period that occur within this range consider normal, some factor like stress, change in diet, weather change, can let the period come earlier or later than usual.
What is abnormal menstrual period?
1. Periods that occur less than 21 days or more than 35 days apart.
2. Missing three or more periods in a row.
3. Menstrual flow that is much heavier or lighter than usual.
4. Periods that last longer than seven days.
5. Periods that are accompanied by pain, cramping, nausea, or vomiting.
6. Bleeding or spotting that happens between periods, after menopause, or following sex.
