Good afternoon Dr. From morning about 6:30 my stomache increases automatically and I am not able to get up from the bed..after that i got fever and hheadache and also vomiting..but now stomache hasnot decreases. Could you please tell me the solution Dr.
Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
No.I had just pantop and fever medicine..

Regarding your question,
what is the treatment of stomach pain
- conservative management that reduce the symptoms
- recover the lost fluid is the most important step in the treatment
- for stomach pain take the anticolic medication as spasmopan and riabal
- for vomiting and nausea take metoclopromide
- in case of bloody diarrhea antibiotic is need and the drug of choice is metronidazol 500 mg*3
- in sever pain and pancreatitis confirmed , admission to hospital and fluid replinishment is mandatory
- if the character of pain goes with peptic ulcer , and H.pylori infection is cofirmed you should start on triple therapy against H. pylori (omeprazol 40 mg * 1 , calrithromycin 500 mg*2 and metronidazol 500 mg*3) for 14 days
- surgery in case of bowel rupture and spillage of gastric content outside the bowel (charecterized by sever pain aggravated by movement)

- gastritis
- gastroenteritis
- peptic ulcer disease
- pancreatitis
what are the associated symptoms
- nausea and vomiting
- bloody diarrhea
- fever and malaise
- pain increase with hunger and relieved by food goes with peptic ulcer
- pain relieved by bending forward
- sever pain aggravated by movement
what are the investigation to diagnose the cause
- clinical exam
- CBC and electrolytes
- pancreatic enzyme test
- stool work up: analysis , culture , blood in stool
- abdominal xray
- urease breath test for H. pylori
