uses of mephaqiun :

mephaqiun used to treat and prevent malaria ( mild to moderate cases ) 

side effects of mephaqiun :

1. skin reddness and lesions 
2. itching 
3. edema 
4. hair loss 
5. muscle weakness and pain 
6. joints pain 

common dosage of mephaqiun : 

for preventing malaria : 250 mg once a week and continue using it until 4 weeks after leaving the area 
for treating malaria : 1250 mg single dose
