What are the normal ranges for blood glucose?
1.Between 72 to 99 mg/dL when fasting
2.Up to 140 mg/dL 2 hours after eating
What are the investigations for diabetes?
1.Clinical assessment at the nearest medical center
2.Fasting blood glucose test
3.Post prandial glucose test
4.Complete blood count (CBC)
5.Urine analysis
6.Hormonal and glandular test
7.Kidney and liver function test
What do we recommend?
Your glucose blood test is a little higher than the normal range and this could be just because you took the test right after eating not after 2 hours and this could be an early sign for the start of diabetes ... We recommend that you always keep checking the glucose level especially that it is heridetary and your father has it and if it kept being higher than the normal range then you should check with your gynecologist.
