i want to know a bit about IUI treatment
Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
i have seen couple of doc they dnt seems to know the reason why i cant get pregnant . My and my husband initial test reports are fine
i do not remember the name of medication but some hormones tablet and few injections to help concive

What is the treatment for female infertility?
1. Taking hormones to address a hormone imbalance, endometriosis, or a short menstrual cycle.
2. Taking medications to stimulate ovulation.
3. Taking antibiotics to treat an infection.
4. Having minor surgery to remove blockage or scar tissues from the fallopian tubes, uterus, or pelvic area.
5. Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and cryopreservation.
6. Assisted reproductive technology, eg; IVF.
What causes female infertility?
1. Ovulation problems- eg; hormone imbalance, tumor or cyst, eating disorders such as anorexia or bulimia, alcohol or drug use, thyroid gland problems, excess weight, stress, intense exercise.
2. Damage to the fallopian tubes or uterus caused by, pelvic inflammatory disease, polyps in the .uterus, endometriosis or fibroids, scar tissue or adhesions, previous ectopic pregnancy, birth defect
3. Abnormal cervical mucus.
What causes male infertility?
1. Abnormal sperm production or function.
2. Problems with the delivery of sperm due to sexual problems, such as premature ejaculation.
3. Overexposure to certain environmental factors, such as pesticides, radiation, Cigarette smoking, alcohol.
4. Damage related to cancer and its treatment, including radiation or chemotherapy.
What is Intrauterine inseminatin-IUI?
1. Is a procedure during which processed and concentrated motile sperm are inserted directly into a woman's uterus.
2. Women often have a 10-20% chance of getting pregnant with just one IUI cycle. The more cycles of IUI you undergo, the higher the chance is for a pregnancy. With 3 to 6 cycles of IUI, pregnancy rates can be as high as 80%.
3. IUI is usually less expensive than other fertility treatments, like IVF.
