this is a typical presentation of post streptococcal glomerulonephritis , which it is inflammation in the glomeruli of the kidney followin infection of throat due to auto immun anti bodies attacking glomeruli of kidney

what is the treatment of sore throat and body swelling
- conservative management with pain killers ad drug that relieve the fever
- Antibiotics as augmintin and cefixime
- in case of swelling , diuretics are useful to relieve the swelling
- avoid salt diet
what are the causes of sore throat and swelling
- throat infection with Group A beta hemolytic streptococcus
- auto immune disease
- skin infection with the same bacteria
what are the associated symptoms
- recurrent common cold followedin two weeks by group of kidney symptoms
- these symptoms are , swelling
- blood accompanying the urin
- blurry vision and headach due to hypertension
- reduce in urine output and fatigue with iritability due to acute renal failure
what are the diagnostig test used in this case
- clinical exam
- CBC
- urine analysis
- Kidney function test
- serum electrolyte
- renal ultrasound
- renal biobsy in case of persistent hypertension or persistent blood acompanying the urine
