Welcome! How can I help with your medical question? Hi I'm 34 years old single never been with man I'm having niple discharge from both only if squeez since 3 years.findout that I have fiborcyst brest condition and still I feel I have a lots of cysts in both breast but not painful unless if I close to my menstration my question is ..is it possible to stop discharge because I'm uncomfortable with that???? Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking? No medicine...doctors said its normal..hormone are balanced..niddle aspiring test ok.. Test was done 2 years ago... Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know? Nope...just want to stop discharge need medicine..

What are the treatments for nipple discharge?

Treatment for this condition depends on the cause:
1.Drink plenty of fluid 
2.Avoid fatty food
3.Antibiotics like Curam 1g twice daily if infection
4.Lowering prolactin level with cabergoline (dose decided by specialist)
5.Surgery if the cause is tumor

What are the causes of nipple discharge?

1.Infection: Breast infections, also known as Mastitis, are fairly common in breastfeeding women but can also occur in non-breastfeeding women .
2.Papilloma: This is the most common reason for abnormal nipple discharge. A papilloma is a noncancerous growth in the breast duct
3.Ectasia: This condition is the second most common reason for abnormal discharge and is most often diagnosed in women who are approaching menopause. It occurs when inflammation or a blockage in the mammary ducts cause an infection, and often results in a thick, greenish nipple discharge.
4.Fibrocystic breast changes:common among women between the ages of 20 and 45. The condition causes certain breast changes right before menstruation that fade right after each cycle

What are the associated symptoms for nipple discharge?

1.Breast fullness or heaviness
2.Swollen nipples
3.Red and Itching nipples
4.Soreness
5.Psychological changes

What are the investigations for nipple discharge?

1.Clinical assessment at the nearest medical center
2.Complete blood count (CBC)
3.Hormonal level check (Prolactin and Estrogen)
4.Breast examination at the gynecologist
