Hi I have tonsillitis from past 8 months, however I have consulted to the doctor and took some antibiotics for it but it never completely goes away, even I do gargle with betadin. Could u please help me ?
Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Yes I have twice or thrice in this 8 month they gave me antibiotic name : megamox amoxicillin clavulanate potassium broad sepectrum antibiotic, and paracetamol for fever although its gets better but never fully cured

- Gargles
- Antibiotics
- Tonsillectomy in cases of recurrent and chronic tonsillitis

- genetic predisposition
- noncompliance to treatments
What are the symptoms of chronic tonsillitis?
- enlarged tonsils
- sleep apnea
- sore throat
