this is a cortecosteroid
there is a few condition that you need to take this mediction  by this dose for long time
as imunnological disease and hematological malignant condition as leukemia
because it has a very serious side efects like

1. osteoporosis
2. reduce wbc count
3. hyperrtension
4. blood electrolyte imbalance
5. elevated blood sugar that might lead to diabetis
6. cataract
7. easily bruising

so if there is no need for it as the condition i mentioned above , it is better to avoid it
