what is the treatment of back pain
- conservative management as in rest , take some analgesia if it is not responded to regular analgesia as brufen or baclophen there is the selective cox family like arcoxia and celebrix
- also muscle relaxant is good combination with analgesia with physiotherapy and back muscles excersice for good support for your spine
- recounstruvtive injection into intervertebral disc in case of disc herniation , but before you take it tell the doctor that you are diabetic so he reduce the steroid dose in it
- immuno globulin in case of autoimmun neurological disease or muscular disease , but from what you describe you most probably have disc herniation and commonly it come between vertebrae L4 and L5
- last resort is surgery
