How the HIV-caused skin rash appears?

Whether caused by an HIV medication or by HIV itself, the rash typically appears as:

1. Red.
2. Flattened area on the skin that’s usually covered with small red bumps.
3. A main symptom of the rash is itchiness.
4. It can show up on any part of the body, but it most often occurs on the face and chest.
5.  Sometimes on the feet and hands.

It can also cause mouth ulcers.

What are the other sign and symptoms of HIV infection?

1. Flu-like symptoms, such as muscle aches, chills, or a general feeling of illness.
2. Fever, particularly if the rash is due to a skin infection.
3. Swollen lymph nodes.
4. Exhaustion.
