What is the treatment of stomach pain after eating figs?
1. To get rid of the stomach discomfort caused by the figs, drink cold water after eating figs.
2. It should be noted that eating too many figs can be heavy on your stomach and can even cause stomach ache. Consuming too much fiber is also bad as it can interfere with the way nutrients are absorbed into the system, so try to decrease amount of figs you eat.
What is the treatment of gastritis?
1. Antibiotic medications to kill H. pylori. For H. pylori in your digestive tract, your doctor may recommend a combination of antibiotics, such as clarithromycin(Biaxin) and amoxicillin (Amoxil, Augmentin) or metronidazole (Flagyl), to kill the bacterium. Be sure to take the full antibiotic prescription, usually for 7 to 14 days.
2. Medications that block acid production and promote healing, Proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole,lansoprazole.
3. Medications to reduce acid production, histamine (H-2) blockers like ranitidine,famotidine.
4. Antacids that neutralize stomach acid.
