Hi how are you? My problem is now it’s been 4-5 days I’m having this pain like before my genital part was ichhy n later it turned to redness, wound and m having hard time during urinate, i even went to see doctor ur the medicine is not working no changes at all can u help me wat is the problem n how should it be cured
Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Yes doctor prescribed me canestene,fucidin H , ahydrocort and vaceline
Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
No untill now medical problems or issue this ia the nly problem m having right now too much pain that also inside there is wound and especially hurts wen i go for pee

What are the treatment of genital ulcers?
- conservative treatment: clean the area with soap and water.
- antiviral treatment in case of genital herpes with acyclover PO as initially:400 mg orally every eight hours for 7
then 200 Mg every 4 hours for 5 days
400 mg orally every 12 hours for up to 12 months to prevent recurrence
and for pain paracetamol Tab 2 tabs every 8 hours(when needed) - antibiotics
benzathine benzylpenicillin ,azithromycin ciprofloxacin ,erythromycin doxycyclin - treat the partner in casr of Sexual transmitted disease
what are the causes of genital Ulcers?
- genital herpes
- syphilis
- chancroid
- lymphogranuloma venerum
- donovanis
what are the other symptoms associated with genital Ulcers?
- the ulcer could be vey painful as in case of chancre and herpes during urinating or anything that touches it
- multiple vesicles within the labia, vagina, or rectum
- Bleeding
- discharge
what is the investigation to diagnose the cause of ulcer?
- clinical exam is the most important
- swap the ulcer for culture and PCR
- blood tests for syphilis and herpes
