• You can use ice packs on your lips many times daily
• Seek for dentist examination to exclude dental causes like caries and gum inflammation
• If you take drugs daily ask for your drugs side effects.
• If there is lip sores you can use creams like Oral dektazol cream or nystatin oral drops many times daily.
• Check your blood glucose level

Causes of dry lips

There are limited causes like the following

• DM
• Types of foods you eat like spicy foods thus you have to avoid it
• Oral ulcers and sores
• Dental causes like gum inflammation
