Treatment of cow's milk allergy:

1.   Stop any formula containing cow's milk and use alternatives for a period of time
2. Symptomatic treatment like using antihistamines

Symptoms of cow's milk allergy:

1. skin reactions (rash)
2. runny or blocked nose
3. abdominal distention
4. irritable baby
5. flatulence
6. vomiting
7. increased bowel sounds
8. frequent crying

 

When do cow's milk allergy symptoms appear?

symptoms may begin immediately or after hours of milk consumption (sometimes may appear after several days)

What is Cow's Milk Allergy (CMA)?

it's an abnormal immune reaction from your baby's body to any of cow's milk components (proteins or fatty substances)

Advice:

Visit the pediatrician to do a physical examination for your baby and follow his instructions. Don't replace your baby's milk formula alone and don't give any medication without consulting first
