Causes of red spots on the throat?

•  Streptococcus throat
•  Herpangina
• Hand, foot, and mouth disease
• Oral cancer

How to treat the problem?

• Use over-the-counter (OTC) painkillers, such as ibuprofen
• Drink cool or warm drinks, but not very hot drinks
• Avoid smoking  
• Use penicillin or amoxicillin if there are symptoms of infection like fever , tenderness
• Do CBC and if WBC increased it might be an infection of oral cavity
• I advice you to be examined by doctor
