Welcome! How can I help with your medical question?
HEllo i have had a discectomy in my lower back and was stitched twice once inside unseen stiches and the other was external. It has been three weeks and the akin tissues wont heal so the doctor removed the external stitched and cleaned the area of any dead skin. Now what is to be done?
Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
I have had 6 courses of antibiotics in about 70 days . The doctor suggested i go back for surgery where he gives me full body anesthesia, remove the inner stitches and redo them the old fashioned way but i think it might not help as we will be playing in the tissues and also i will be having a seventh course of antibiotic shots which would weaken my immunity
Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Been bit by a dog before 5 years ago and i didnt have stitches and it healed
