iam having duodenal ulcer ,now iam taking PPI once a day before break fast but still iam awaked by burning pain in abdomen ,so suggest me an ideal time to take this medicine

i saw a doctor and now iam on tab omez 20 mg bbf
Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
my main problem is i have severe burning pain during early morning ,no other digestive symptoms.but i used to have spicy foods now i have reduced it

as you mentioned above PPI is one of the medications used to treat dudenal ulcer
you can take PPI three times per day befor each meal by 15 minutes
but long-term use of PPI , particularly at high doses , may increase your risk of hip , wrist and spine fractures .
:so that you shoud added the following medications to the PPI at least for two weeks then stop the three medications
1. antibiotic to kill h.pylori including clarithromycin 500 mg, and amoxcillin1 g .
1. a bacterium : h. pylori.
2. regular use of certain pain relievers(like nonsteroidal anti inflamatory drugs )
3.other medications like ( steroids , anticoagulants , aspirin , selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors )
4. smoking
5. drinking alcohole
6. have untreated stress
7. eat spicy food
1. burning stomach pain
2. feeling of fullness, bloating or belching
3. fatty food intolerance
4. heartburn
5. nausea
1. laboratory tests for h.pylori (blood , stool or breath test )
2. endoscopy
3. barium swallow
