Dear doctor,
My daughter 13years old having issue since last two years some times blood coming from nose. Most of the time during when she is in the school it is happening will you help me to understand what is the issue.
I showed this issue with the local doctor in USE but the doctor said it not an issue.
So I looking forward your advise

Treatment of nosebleed
It is common problem that affect high percentage of people due to many factors, Evaluation and treatment of like condition is by the following
- At most cases is due to allergic at nose or exposure to cold air with no relation no underlying medical conditions.
- As your daughter does not complain of other symptoms do not worry.
- Your daughter can be examined by ENT doctor to exclude nose causes like polyps or other causes.
- Measure your daughter blood pressure also
- If ENT Doctor is normal do not worry and this complain will be temporary and relieved with time only.
Causes of nosebleed
There are many causes like the following
- Exposure to cold air
- Allergic rhinitis
- Sinusitis
- Traumatic nosebleed
- Hypertension
- Nasal polyps
- Other causes
