Melatonin have a few side effect compared to other sleep drugs but still have some as:
Daytime sleepiness
Headache
Anxiety
Drowsiness
Stomach discomfort

There is nothing to worry about, as there is no interaction between both drugs.
Do not use it again unless prescribed by your doctor.
