Hello.. my 15 months son has loose stool and occasionally vomit and no apetite for one week! I’m very worried. A stool test was made and there is not viral infection.. the symptoms appeared after having his one year vaccine (mmr, hipta) .. what can be the cause?
Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Yes i’ve seend 3 doctors and they dont know the cause they just give more medicine.. i did not give him any.. he is only having ORS
Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
after we came back from the vaccination, he had a biscuit n pistachios for the first time as well as eggs for the first time (i have allergy to both) and he was sollowen so we took him to the hospital and he was given chlorpheneramine syrup ( histan ) for the allergy.. i dont know if it’s connected

According to your descritpion, the problem may be:- Food allergy
- Hepatitis
- Viral infection
- Bacterial infection
- Side effect of the vaccine...etc
Diagnosis of the cause:
You have to visit a pediatric doctor for clinical examination and investigations as:- CBC
- ALT
- AST
- Urea
- Creatinine
- Heptitis A test
- Stool analysis
- FPG...etc
Treatment of your child complain:
It depends on the cause, and i advise you to take your child to the hospital for admission and IV medications till the right diagnosis as:- Fluid to avoid dehydration
- Metoclopramide for vomitting
- Hydrocortisone as a trial to treat allergy
