Treatment of gonorrhea:

You can take one injection of ceftriaxone 250 mg IM in addition to one of the following medications:

• Azithromycin 500 mg once daily
• or Doxycycline 100 mg once daily for one week.

And it is better to do a culture and sensitivity test to determine the best antibiotic.
And I advise you to treat your partner to avoid reinfection

Symptoms of gonorrhea:

In males:

• Dysuria
• Pus discharge
• Testicular pain
• Testicular swelling

In females:

• Vaginal discharge
• Dysuria
• Abdominal pain
• Pelvic pain
• Vaginal bleeding
• Painful intercourse
