Dear Customer
Welcome, and thank you for trusting us
Regarding your question

What treatments are available for asthenospermia?

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) - a form of artificial insemination. This procedure involves placing the sperm in the womb of the woman and significantly reducing the amount of swimming necessary for the sperm to reach the egg. Doctors usually start this course of treatment if the sperm have a movement of at least 30 to 35 percent.
In vitro fertilization (IVF) - This is done in the laboratory, where doctors fertilize one of the female eggs with male sperm
Injection of sperm within an egg wall (ICSI) - involves injecting sperm directly into the egg to ensure fertilization. This leads to a successful fertilization rate of 70 to 90 percent and can begin regardless of movement, as long as one of the sperm is normal and moving
Medications - such as CARNIVITA FORTE & SELENIUM & ZINC and have some effectiveness on the movement of sperm
Clomiphen citrate  may increase movement and number of sperm but under the supervision of a doctor of infertility and reproduction

What is asthenospermia ?

asthenospermia is  medical term refers to decrease sperm movement

What causes asthenospermia?

Many factors can lead to decreased sperm movement. Most of the factors men can eliminate with a simple lifestyle change, including:
Excessive Stress - Fertility problems can result from unnecessary stress, and can be caused by many other health problems.
Malnutrition - Deficiencies in some vitamins, such as vitamin C and vitamin B12, can lead to asthenospermia
Excessive heat - sitting in a sauna or hot tub, or putting a laptop on your lap for long periods of time can heat the genitals, leading to countless fertility issues. Narrow clothing and restricted underwear can also cause excess heat.
Medications - Some drugs may cause infertility as side effects by reducing sperm movement
Smoking and Alcohol - Overuse of alcohol and the use of tobacco products contribute to many health problems including the ability of sperm to extract energy for movement
