Welcome! How can I help with your medical question? I get shivers in my body for no reason this increases my pulse it relaxes by itself after an hour after taking some juices, why does this happen? Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking? I did they say there is no reason as such just relax when you feel so still they prescribed concor2. 5mg it helps but i want to know thw the cause Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know? I amm suffering wth rheumatoud arthritis past 10yrs but i stopped using those medecation using some alternative medecation

What is the treatment of shivering and increased pulse rate?


If there is no reason, a mild dose of PROPANOLOL, a beta-receptor antagonist
in case of heart tachycardia including SVT, AF and other reasons taking cardioselcitve drugs like concor
Stop alcohol consumption
PTU or mercaptizole in hyperthyroidism
anti Parkinson' s disease drugs like levedopa
Stop the stimulant medications
In the case of a defined reason to be treated accordingly
Psychiatric consultation in case of panic and generalized anxiety disorders

What causes shivering and increased pulse rate?


Multiple Sclerosis
Brain Injuries
Parkinson's disease
And the use of certain drugs such as :
(drugs for asthma, amphetamines, caffeine, corticosteroids, and drugs used in some mental and neurological disorders)
Alcohol abuse or withdrawal
lead  poisoning
hyperthyroidism
Liver dysfunction
Kidney failure
Anxiety or panic
cardiac arrythmias

How is the cause of shivering and increased pulse rate diagnosed?


Clinical and neurological examination and medical history
Other symptoms such as poor balance, speech abnormalities, or increased muscle stiffness indicate symptoms of a problem in the brain
Blood or urine tests can exclude metabolic causes such as thyroid malfunction
Examination of liver and kidney functions
