2. Drink enough amount of water every day from 2-4 liters 
3. Apply cold water or cold compressors for 15 minutes 3-4 times every day 
4. Take over the counter analgesic such as Ibuprofen
5. You can Apply topical medications to relieve the pain and the swelling such as Diclofenac gel 
6. Your doctor will prescribe antibiotics in case of bacterial infection
