Causes of high fever:

There are many different causes of high fever as:

• Recurrent tonsilitis
• Otitis media
• Respiratory tract infection
• Gastroenteritis
• Teething
• Urine tract infection
• Skin infection...etc

Diagnosis of the cause of high fever:

For the right diagnosis, you have to visit a pediatric doctor for clinical examination and investigations as:
CBC

• Chest x-ray
• Urine analysis
• Stool analysis
• Lumbar puncture if needed ...etc

Treatment of high fever:

It depends on the cause, and to relieve symptoms till the right diagnosis, you can use the following treatment:

• Paracetamol suppository 125 mg three times daily
• Amoxicillin syrup 2 cc three times daily
