Treatment of gastritis

It is common condition that affect high percentage of people. Evaluation and treatment of like condition is by the following

• At first, do not worry as gastritis at most cases is self limiting disease with subsequent improvement without complications
• Increase your intake of water and soaps daily
• Do stool analysis test to exclude infectious causes of  gastritis
• Take antibiotic Metronidazole 500 mg twice daily for seven days.
• Anti emetic drugs like pramine can be taken as tabs or injections
• Anti diarrheal drugs like lepromide tab also can be taken to improve symptoms.

Symptoms of gastritis

There are many symptoms like the following

• Abdominal pain
• Diarrhea or constipation
• Nausea and vomiting
• Joints and muscles pain
• Fever

Causes of gastritis

Causes is due to viral infections at most cases but bacterial and parasitic infections also are common
