Dear Customer
Welcome, and thank you for trusting us
Regarding your question
if your TSH is 52 then you have severe decrease in your thyroid function but if you have TSH level of 5.2 then it's normal but on the upper border which may suggest hypothyroidsm , because TSH normal levels are between 0.5 and 5.5 and if it is lower than 0.5 that means you have hyperthyroidsm by negative feedback mechanism and if you have TSH more than 5.5 then you have hypothyroidsm
In hyperthyroidism, it is treated with drugs such as PTU but under medical supervision
In the case of hypothyroidism is with the substitution of thyroxine through drugs, LEVOTHYROXINE
It weakens neuronal development of infants. There is also an increased risk of premature birth, low birth weight, and miscarriage.
Low IQ tests in children of untreated women.
Maternal complications include abortion, pregnancy-induced hypertension, premature birth, placental dislocation, heart failure, and thyroid storm. Complications include fetal and neonatal abortion, low birth weight
