Treatment of lichen planus:

In many cases to resolves by its own within years, and in other cases it is difficult to be treated.
Ttreatment include:

• Corticosteroids cream as betamethasone cream twice daily
• tacrolimus cream
• Cetrizine 10 mg twice daily to reduce itching
• Light therapy
• Retinoid cream

Symptoms of lichen planus:

• Itching
• Blisters
• Mouth patches
• Hair loss
• Scalp discoloration
• Nail damage
• Bumps

Cause of lichen planus:

Till now, there is no known cause of lichen planus.
IT occurs when immune system attacks cells of the skin and mucuos membrane.
