Pills after CS

After CS delivery, there is a question about suitable methods of contraception. Based on your question , i see the following

• If you are lactating, you can take progestin only pills one per day which does not affect normal breast feeding
• Oral combined contraceptive pills can be taken after 6 months even you are breastfeeding
• IUD can be inserted after 6 months also

Complications of CS

It is safe surgery but sometimes complications can be occurred like the following

• Infections
• Bleeding
• Adhesions
• Poor wound healing
• Infected wound
• Bladder or ureter injury
