Treatment of peri anal itching
It is common complain to experience itching at anus during defecation or at night due to many causes. Evaluation and treatment of like condition is by the following
- The commonest cause of like condition is due to what is known as pinworms infection, it is small white pinworms that affect colon and anus and activate at night resulting in itching which is the commonest symptoms.
- Take one tab of mebendazole and repeat the dose after two weeks just.
- You and your family member must take the dose.
- It is expected to have improvement within days with the above drug, Also you can use betamethasone cream to relieve itching.
Causes of peri anal itching
The commonest causes are the following
- Pinworms infection
- Diarrhea
- Bad hygiene at anus
