How do we treat Post coital bleeding?

1. repair any vaginal or cevical tear if present with surgery
2. repair any vaginal or cervical lesion as polyp or mass or even prolapse with snare or  by cautery orsurgically
3. treat any coagulation abnormality if present
4. treat gonadal hormonal deficiency
5. treat infections with antibiotic , and most importantly treat the partner if sexual transmitted disease is suspected

1. since you have previous new misscariage(abortion) especially if you underwent dilatation and curettage , you might have some vaginal or cervical tear that cause bleeding after intercourse
2. cervical or vaginal lesion that bleed with any irritation as in coitus
3. vaginal or uterine prolapse
4. and coagulative disease as in clotting factor deficiency but this disorder is associated with other bleeding symptoms as nasal bleeding and echymosis
5. gonadal hormon deficiency that lead to atrophic vaginitis but this is unlikely in woman at her reproductive age
6. sexual transmitted disease

1. pain during intercourse wither it is suprfacial or deep 
2. pain during the menstrual cycle
3. feeling of mass between thighs
4. other bleeding problems as in gum or nasal bleed , or easy bruising
5. fouly smell colorful vaginal discharge with fever and fatigue

1. clinical examination with speculum to inspect if any cervical or vaginal lesion present
2. clotting profile : Pt , Ptt , INR
3. serum estrogen level
4. culture for any vaginal secrition to look for any bug that might cause infections
5. always when suspect sexual transmitted disease dont forget the partner
