The regular menses is about every 28 days while absent menses is absence of menstrual cycle more than two weeks from the expected date. Based on your question i see the following

• I see to wait for one week more before seeking medical help
• If menstrual cycles does not come after one week , you have to do pregnancy test to confirm or exclude pregnancy.
• To relieve symptoms you can take analgesics like ibuprofen 400 mg three times daily.
• You can ask for abdominal US just for reassurance.

Causes of absent menses
