Welcome! How can I help with your medical question?
I had recent myomectomy done for Hugh anterior fibroid but after 3 months MRI done showed a posterior 4 cm fibroid with cystic degeneration and left ovarian haemorrhagic cyst, I am 40 yrs and like to preserve my uterus, I had MRI because of new onset of abdominal distension and left side lower abdominal pain, I am quite worried about new diagnosis and what I shud be doing
Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
I am not on any medications and I have coming appt with dr Arabo a well known Gynae surgeon after 1 week
Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
No there is nothing to it, before surgery another Gynae consultant started me on esmiya a new drug to shrink the fibroids I took for 9 months and my treating surgeon dr Arabo knows about it

It depends on the outcome of the new MRI, and there are different diagnostic possibilities for the symptoms that you feel, but most likely because of tumors in the uterus, Since you have had a partial ablation procedure, it is preferable to do a complete resection to prevent the complications
