antenatal visit is very important for the following :

• screening of the diseases , like sexual transmitted diseases , hypertension, diabetes
• detecting the risk factors in the pregnancy
• measuring blood pressure , blood glucose
• giving folic acid and iron to prevent the neurlogical diseases of the fetus
• doing ultrasound

what are the investigations that are required in the prenatal visit ?

• cbc
• fasting blood glucose
• blood groupn and rh
• urine analysis
