how long does dialysis stay ؟

Duration depends on the nature of the disease itself, and can not be judged to stop dialysis or continuity after full knowledge of the history of the disease and the nature of the case and the integrity of the kidney

What Is Dialysis?

Dialysis is a treatment that filters and purifies the blood using a machine. This helps keep your body in balance when the kidneys can’t do their job. 

When is dialysis needed?

You need dialysis when you develop end stage kidney failure --usually by the time you lose about 85 to 90 percent of your kidney function and have a GFR of <15. 

What does dialysis do?

• removing waste, salt and extra water to prevent them from building up in the body
• keeping a safe level of certain chemicals in your blood, such as potassium, sodium and bicarbonate
• helping to control blood pressure
